These 4.75” (120 mm) lightweight thread snips are purpose built for cutting thread precisely and other light cutting operations such as snipping multiple strands of thread, cutting heavier yarns, embroidery floss, string, trimming small sections of seam allowances, clipping curves, or notching edges.  Also called thread clips or thread snips, the single-loop handle design increases stability and gives a comfortable grip for smooth, mistake-free cutting with confidence.  It has precision ground extra sharp pointed blades in the constant open position, quick action spring return, and a thumb rest that will endure through hundreds of uses and deliver great cutting performance each time. 

These thread clippers are made from high carbon stainless steel and are heat treated to hardness of HRC 50-54.  The cut length is 1.38 inches (36 mm).  The handles are made from POM (polyoxymethylene) with 30% fiberglass to give it strength, no slippage and stability.  

Not recommended for cutting fabric.
