Designed with safety in mind, the KCT-387 has cutting functions like any utility knife with the added protection for the working hand and fingers. 

A safety guard is placed around the fingers to protect them from the rough working surface - a simple innovation.  Innovation never continues

to cease when it comes to tools and their safety.  This knife is contoured for phenomenal grip, control and safety.  A push button near the nose

allows for quick and easy blade changes   Use to cut paper, cardboard, leather, drywall, plastic sheeting, and other materials.

Comfortable grip best for repetitive use
This is my new favorite utility knife! It fits great in the hand and I love the grip. After extended use I do not feel any discomfort in my hand and am able to maintain a steady grip for even, exact cutting without any additional effort. The blade storage is a life saver and I don't have to worry about breaking off blades like you do with lower end utility knives. When you pick this tool up you can tell right away that it is a solid product.

I feel safe using it
The best utility knife I use and my partner. The safe guard really help us speed up the work without worry scratch our finger or knuckle. The quick remove knife folders is a big plus. it does save time; run to tool bag find the blades.

Truly Excellent and Safe Utilithy Knife
I use utility knives for art projects and general utility purposes. I have purchase several different types of knives over the years. Most knives have not lived up to their claim – until now. This knife works like others but has a very comfortable grip, ergonomic grip, retractable (like others), stable fixed blade. It also has multiple locking positions. Most of all it guards the knuckles while working on rough surfaces – which I do occasionally. I strongly recommended it.

I have lot of little and odd shaped tools which I use to build model cars and airplanes. I use exacto knife and utility knife a lot. Been cut few times nothing serious. I love this knife for its safety feature. It's a bit big for some of my uses but safety is better. I strongly recommend it.
